“I first started having personal training sessions with Armando in November 2010. My main goal was to lose weight. I was tipping the scales at nearly 15 stone; for a 5ft 7in guy that’s a whole lot of weight! I did a little research into getting personal training and watched the trainers in the gym for a few months before I plucked up the courage and took the plunge!! I wanted to choose a trainer where I was seeing results in their clients. Armando stuck out for me from the other trainers as I saw all of his clients either losing weight or building muscle. The results looked amazing and knew that he would be the right trainer for me.
I started with one session a week focusing on a lot of cardio work mixed in with weight training. My sessions were great and Armando really mixed the exercises up. Every week I would be learning new exercises I never knew existed and I would then use these in my own routines during the other days I worked out. Armando wrote me a bespoke routine for the week with exercises that I was capable of doing on my own that I could also push myself without causing any injury when training on my own. I really began to enjoy working out; something I have always had a problem with for the years I have been trying for! I was looking forward to going to the gym and within weeks was starting to look and feel better. The results were great and this inspired me to work even harder. He would change my routine every couple of weeks to ensure I never got bored and so that my body was constantly being shocked.
Armando not only taught me a great training routine he also started to educate me
more about the human body, how it works and all the different muscles it was made
up of (I swear Biology at school was never this interesting!). I began to learn that

He gave me a very good diet plan to work alongside my training routine. This was key to lose the weight I have wanted to for so long.
In 7 months I lost 3.5 stone! Now I have lost most of the weight I have wanted we are working to build upon the muscles I have now started to develop. I can’t believe I actually have muscles now! The other trainers and gym staff are also now commenting on the results I have achieved! My bespoke diet plan and workout routine was changed which again is refreshed in cycles to ensure maximum results. My body fat % is decreasing every week and I am seeing massive gains in the weights I am lifting and my muscle development. I am actually increasing what I lift for at least one exercise every single week at the moment!
Armando is a very friendly trainer but knows how to “beast” you when it’s needed so you don’t have an easy session!! He is very motivational and I really feel a sense of achievement every week we train. I can contact him out of my training hours for extra advice or any training support I may need. You can see he is very well respected by his peers and has a got an incredible knowledge base.
I would 100% recommend everybody wanting to achieve results in the gym having a personal trainer and I would definitely recommend Armando.”
